1 When people began to multiply on the surface of the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of Yahuah (Yah) saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took wives for themselves from all the ones they chose. 3 Yahuah (Yah) said, "My Ruach (Spirit/Breath) won't always struggle with mankind, because he's also flesh. However, his life will be 120 years." 4 The Nephiliym (Giants/Fallen ones) were on the earth in those days—and also after that—when the sons of Yahuah (Yah) went to the daughters of men and they had children with them. These children became the famous mighty men of old. 5 Yahuah (Yah) saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. 6 Yahuah (Yah) regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him deeply. 7 Yahuah (Yah) said, "I'll wipe out the mankind I've created from the surface of the earth—including man, animals, crawling things, and the birds of the air—for I regret that I've made them." 8 But Nuach (Noah) found favor in Yahuah (Yah)'s eyes. 9 This is the account of Nuach (Noah)’s family: Nuach was a righteous man and blameless among the people of his time; Nuach walked with Yahuah (Yah). 10 Nuach (Noah) had three sons: Shem (Shem), <span class="ytc-term" data-term="Cham" title="Means 'hot' or 'burnt.' The second son of Nuach (Noah). Father of Kush (Ethiopia/Africa), Mitsrayim (Egypt), Phut (Libya/North Africa), and Kena'an. Ancestor...">Cham (Ham), and Yaphet (Japheth). 11 The earth was also corrupt before Yahuah (Yah), and it was filled with violence. 12 Yahuah (Yah) looked at the earth and saw it was corrupt, for everyone on earth had corrupted their way of living. 13 Yahuah (Yah) said to Nuach (Noah), "The end of all people has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. Look, I'm going to destroy them along with the earth. 14 Make yourself an ark of gopher wood. Make rooms in the ark and coat it inside and out with tar. 15 This is how yourself are to build it: the length of the ark will be 300 cubits, its width 50 cubits, and its height 30 cubits. 16 Make a window for the ark and finish it to within a cubit of the top. Set the door of the ark in its side, and build it with lower, second, and third decks. 17 Look, I'm bringing a flood of water upon the earth to destroy all life that has the breath of life under heaven. Everything on the earth will die.
