1 This is the historical record of the descendants of Adam (Adam). On the day Yahuah (Yah) created man, he made him in Yahuah's likeness. 2 He created them male and female, blessed them, and named them Adam on the day they were created. 3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Sheth (Seth). 4 After Sheth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 5 Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died. 6 When Sheth had lived 105 years, he fathered Enosh (Enosh). 7 After Enosh was born, Sheth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters. 8 Sheth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died. 9 When Enosh had lived 90 years, he fathered Qeynan (Kenan). 10 After Qeynan was born, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters. 11 Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died. 12 When Qeynan had lived 70 years, he fathered Mahalal'el (Mahalalel). 13 After Mahalal'el was born, Qeynan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 Qeynan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died. 15 When Mahalal'el had lived 65 years, he fathered Yered (Jared). 16 After Yered was born, Mahalal'el lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 Mahalal'el lived a total of 895 years, and then he died. 18 When Yered had lived 162 years, he fathered Chanok (Enoch). 19 After Chanok was born, Yered lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 Yered lived a total of 962 years, and then he died. 21 When Chanok had lived 65 years, he fathered Methushelach (Methuselah). 22 Chanok walked with Yahuah (Yah) for 300 years after Methushelach was born, and he had other sons and daughters. 23 Chanok lived a total of 365 years. 24 Chanok walked with Yahuah (Yah), and then he was gone because Yahuah took him. 25 When Methushelach had lived 187 years, he fathered Lemek (Lamech). 26 After Lemek was born, Methushelach lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Methushelach lived a total of 969 years, and then he died. 28 When Lemek had lived 182 years, he fathered a son.
