¹ Two full years later, Pharaoh had a dream. In the dream, he was standing by the river. ² Suddenly, seven healthy, fat cows came up out of the river and grazed in the reed grass. ³ Then seven other cows came up after them from the river. These were ugly and thin, and they stood by the healthy cows on the riverbank. ⁴ The ugly, thin cows ate the seven healthy, fat cows. Then Pharaoh woke up. ⁵ He fell asleep again and had a second dream. Look, seven heads of grain, full and good, were growing on a single stalk. ⁷ Then the thin heads of grain swallowed the seven full, healthy ones. Pharaoh woke up and realized it was a dream. ⁸ In the morning, his spirit was troubled. After he shaved and changed his clothes, he came before Pharaoh. ¹⁵ Pharaoh said to Yoseph, "I've had a dream, and no one can interpret it. I've heard it said about yourself that when yourself hear a dream, yourself can interpret it." ¹⁶ Yoseph answered Pharaoh, "It's not in me; Yahuah (Yah) will give Pharaoh a favorable answer." ²⁵ Yoseph said to Pharaoh, "Pharaoh's dreams are one and the same. Yahuah (Yah) has revealed to Pharaoh what He's about to do." ²⁸ "It's just as I told Pharaoh: Yahuah (Yah) has shown Pharaoh what He's about to do." ²⁹ "Look, seven years of great abundance are coming to all the land of <span class="ytc-term" data-term="Mitsrayim" title="The Hebrew name for Egypt, meaning 'two straits' or 'two boundaries.'
