The land of bondage for the children of Yash...">Mitsrayim, who were held in the prison, each had a dream with its own specific meaning. ⁶ When Yoseph came to them the next morning, he saw that they were upset. ⁷ He asked Pharaoh’s officials who were with him in custody in his master's house, "Why do you look so sad today?" ⁸ They answered, "We both had dreams, but there is no one to interpret them." Yoseph said to them, "Don't interpretations belong to Yahuah (Yah)? Please, tell them to me." ⁹ So the chief butler told his dream to Yoseph. He said, "In my dream, I saw a vine in front of me. ¹⁰ The vine had three branches. As it budded, its blossoms opened, and its clusters produced ripe grapes. ¹¹ Pharaoh's cup was in my hand. I took the grapes, squeezed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand." ¹² Yoseph said to him, "This is what it means: the three branches are three days. ¹³ Within three days, Pharaoh will lift up yourself head and restore yourself to yourself position. Yourself will place Pharaoh’s cup in his hand just as yourself used to do when yourself were his butler. ¹⁴ But please, remember me when things go well for yourself. Show me kindness by mentioning me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house. ¹⁵ For I was actually kidnapped from the land of the Ivriym (Hebrews), and even here I haven't done anything to deserve being put in this dungeon." ¹⁶ When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was favorable, he said to Yoseph, "I also had a dream. Look, three baskets of white bread were on my head. ¹⁷ In the top basket, there were all kinds of baked goods for Pharaoh, but the birds were eating them out of the basket on my head." ¹⁸ Yoseph replied, "This is what it means: the three baskets are three days. ¹⁹ Within three days, Pharaoh will lift yourself head off of yourself and hang yourself on a tree; then the birds will eat the flesh off of yourself."
