Genesis (Bere'shiyth) 31

1 Yaakov (Jacob) heard what Laban (Laban)’s sons were saying: "Yaakov has taken away everything that belonged to our father. He has gained all this wealth from what was our father’s." 2 Yaakov noticed Laban’s expression and saw that his attitude toward him was not the same as it was before. 3 Yahuah (Yah) said to Yaakov, "Return to the land of yourself fathers and to yourself relatives, and I will be with yourself." 4 So Yaakov sent for Rachel (Rachel) and Leah (Leah) to come out to the field to his flock. 5 He said to them, "I see that your father’s attitude toward me has changed, but the Yahuah (Yah) of my father has been with me. 6 You know that I’ve served your father with all my strength. 7 Your father has mocked me and changed my wages ten times, but Yahuah (Yah) didn't allow him to harm me. 8 If he said, 'The speckled will be yourself wages,' then the whole flock gave birth to speckled. If he said, 'The streaked will be yourself wages,' then the whole flock gave birth to streaked. 9 In this way, Yahuah (Yah) has taken away your father’s livestock and given them to me. 10 During the time the flock was breeding, I had a dream. I looked up and saw that the male goats mating with the flock were streaked, speckled, and spotted. 11 The malak (messenger) of Yahuah (Yah) said to me in the dream, 'Yaakov!' And I said, 'Here I am.' 12 He said, 'Look up and see: all the male goats mating with the flock are streaked, speckled, and spotted; for I have seen everything Laban does to yourself. 13 I am the Yahuah (Yah) of Beyt-El (Bethel), where yourself anointed a pillar and where yourself made a vow to me. Now get up, get yourself out of this land, and return to the land of yourself relatives.'" 14 Rachel and Leah answered him, "Is there anything left for us to inherit from our father’s house? 15 Doesn't he treat us like strangers? He sold us and has completely used up the money paid for us.
